1 Corinthians 12:8 – For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit.
1. What are Words of Knowledge?
Randy Clark – A supernatural revelation of information by the Holy Spirit.
A revelation from the Holy Spirit into another person’s need, struggle, or situation for the purpose of healing and restoration.
Biblical Examples
a. 2 Kings 6 – Elisha and the King of Syria
b. John 1:48 – The calling of Nathanael by Jesus
c. John 4:18 – Jesus and the woman at the well
d. Acts 14:9 – The Apostle Paul and the lame man at Lystra.
Words of Knowledge build faith in the person who receives them and in the person who gives them.
Words of Knowledge let us know we are on the Father’s Heart.
Words of Knowledge can bring conviction and turning away from sin.
2. How do we receive words of knowledge?
There are a number of different ways the Holy Spirit gives words of knowledge:
a. We can feel them
b. We can see them
c. We can hear them
d. We can read them
e. We can dream them

We need to tune into the Holy Spirit and what He is doing and saying.
3. How do we share a word of knowledge?
We don’t want to come across pushy, prideful, or presumptuous.

d. Be faithful
e. Be humble
f. Be open to share the Gospel
