Psalm 139:1-2 NLT

O Lord, You have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Psalm 139:3-4 NLT

You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.

Psalm 139:5-6 NLT

You go before me and follow me. You place Your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand.

Psalm 139:13-14 NLT

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous- how well I know it.

Psalm 139:15-16 NLT

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Psalm 139:17-18 NLT

How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, You are still with me!

Father God loves every child, including every child in the womb!

Psalm 139:13b NIV

You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Psalm 139:14a NKJV

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Every human being is fearfully and wonderfully made for the Glory of God!

Why is it important to stand for life in our city, our community, and our nation?

1. Because every human being is created by God and created in His image!

Genesis 1:27 NKJV

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Psalm 139:13 NIV

For You created my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

2. Because every child, born and unborn has plans and purposes and destiny from God.

Psalm 139:16 NLT

You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Jeremiah 1:4-5 NIV

The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

3. Because every child, born or unborn is a gift from God.

Psalm 127:3 NLT

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.

4. Because we are called to be the Voice of the Voiceless

Proverbs 31:8 NKJV

Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die.

The unborn have no voice. We must speak for them and defend them.

5. Because Abortion stops a beating heart.

6. Because what breaks the Father’s heart should break ours.

Leviticus 18:21

And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

7. Because we stand as representatives of the Savior King

Luke 19:10

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Ephesians 2:4-5

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved.)

WE LOVE LIFE!

John 10:10

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Jesus gave His life for us that we may have His abundant life in this life and His eternal life in the life to come.
