Extreme Worship

Key verse – 2 Samuel 6:14 – Then David danced before the Lord with all his might.

We carry the Manifest Presence of God with us, in us, and upon us.

  1. WORSHIP THE LORD WHOLEHEARTEDLY

Psalm 103:1 – Bless the Lord o my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy Name.

2 Samuel 6:14 – David danced before the Lord with all his might.

2 Samuel 6:14 – King David was leaping and whirling before the Lord.

  1. WORSHIP THE LORD WITH DEEPHUMILITY

2 Samuel 6:22 – And I will be even more undignified than this and will be humble in my own sight.

The word for worship means to make ourselves low, to prostrate ourselves before the Lord.

Psalm 99:5 – Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His footstool.

James 4:10 – Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up.

“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less” C.S. Lewis

Defend your extreme worship from intimidation.

  1. WORSHIP WITH GREAT GENEROSITY

2 Samuel 6:19 – Then he distributed among all the people, among the whole multitude of Israel, both the

women and the men, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat and a cake of raisins.

We become like the One we worship.
