1. You Are Chosen as a Daughter of the King!
a. Galatians 4:7 (NIV) – “So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.”
b. John 1:12 (NLT) – “But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”
c. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) – “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
2. You Are Loved and Enough.
a. You are Loved – Romans 8:38-39 (NLT) – “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
b. You are Enough – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT) – “Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”
3. Mothers Display the Image of God!
Genesis 1:27 (NIV) – “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
Genesis 1:27 (TPT) – “So God created man and woman and shaped them with his
image inside them. In his own beautiful image, he created his masterpiece. Yes, male and female he created them.”
Genesis 2:18 (NIV) – “The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper (Ay-zer) suitable for him.”
Genesis 2:20 (NIV) – “So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper (Ay-zer) was found.”
Deuteronomy 33:7b (NIV) -- Moses is blessing the tribe of Judah: ““Hear, LORD, the cry of Judah; bring him to his people. With his own hands he defends his cause. Oh, be his help against his foes!”
And again in verse 29 as Moses is finishing the blessing over the entirety of Israel:
Deuteronomy 33:29 (AMP) – “Happy and blessed are you, O Israel; Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, The Shield of your help (Ay-zer), And the Sword of your majesty! Your enemies will cringe before you, And you will tread on their high places [tramping down their idolatrous altars].”
It shows up in the historical books. When David is collecting warriors in Ziklag right after he is crowned king. Then the Spirit came on Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said:
1 Chronicles 12:18b (NLT) – “We are yours, David! We are with you, son of Jesse!
Success, success to you, and success to those who help you, for your God will help (Ay-zer) you.”
Psalm 33:20 (NKJV) – “Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help (Ay-zer) and our shield.”
Psalm 70:5 (NKJV) – “But I am poor and needy; Make haste to me, O God! You are my help (Ay-zer) and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay.”
Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV) – “I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help (Ay-zer) comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
Psalm 124:8 (NIV) – “Our help (Ay-zer) is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
