WALKING IN LOVE
1 Thessalonians 3:12(NLT) – And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow just as our love for you overflows.
We’re not communicating with each other. We’re not listening to each other.
Matthew 12:25 – Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.
We are called to be holy – different, set apart from the world, set apart for God.
We are called to walk in love.
John 13:35 – By this all will know that you are My disciples if you have love for one another.
1 John 3:14 – We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren.
BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, WE ARE ONE!
1 Thessalonians 3:10 – Night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face and perfect what is lacking in your faith.
1 Thessalonians 3:12 – And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.
1 Thessalonians 3:13 – so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
The Holy Spirit wants to increase our capacity to love.
1 Thessalonians 3:12 – And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another
Increase – become more and more
Abound – super abound, be in excess, more than expected
1 Thessalonians 3:12(NLT) – And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow.
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world
1 John 2:2 – And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Every Person is a person for whom Jesus died and a person Jesus deeply loves.
So Will I – If you gave Your life to love them, so will I
1 Thessalonians 4:9 – For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another
1 Thessalonians 4:10 – But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more.
1 Corinthians 13:4 – Love suffers long and is kind.
1 Corinthians 13:4(NLT) – Love is patient and kind, love is not jealous or boastful or proud
1 Corinthians 13:5(NLT) – Love is not rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
Luke 23:34 – Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.

Matthew 9:36 – But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered like sheep having no shepherd.
The Holy Spirit wants to increase our capacity to love deeper, to fill us with the compassion of Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 1:5 – For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance.
1 Corinthians 13:13 – And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Why was the Apostle Paul so passionate about the Thessalonians walking in love?
Are there people the Holy Spirit is calling you to love more or love for the first time?
Is there someone in your life you have written off, and the Holy Spirit is asking you to forgive them and love longer?
Would you be willing to let the Holy Spirit increase your capacity to love deeper and to fill you with the compassion of Jesus?
